A torque strain measuring device similar to but better than L+S will attach to drive shaft yoke. Will have the real time digital display and analog output for data logging capability.

Check out www.land-and-sea.com on board dyno. Good explaination on how it works. Basically measures the twist of a shaft.

I think that he paid 500 bucks for it or something like that. The ones similiar to his that I have seen for sale have all been in the 1000-1500 range.

We have one at CMI. Used for quick muffler backpressure tests and some development work. Easier and sometimes more accurate than using the test boats.
