Hot Boat some single engine boats come with LEFT hand drive standard. Mine did and the boat much prefers a LH hand prop rather than a RH rotation. A Bravo can turn either direction. LH loads the top cap of drives more so on a single engine boat IF the boat handles a RH is prfered but not the rule.

If you have a bravo or volvo than I would use a right rotation it the helm is to starboard for better balance and left if it is port.

Some say that the LH prop will counteract the RH rotation of the motor. But as stated above it will load the top cap. Convention is to use RH but theory says LH. Only testing and trying for your particular hull will tell for sure.
