I've searched the forum and, after much informative reading, decided to go with RedLine Heavy in my drive. However, there seems to be two factions: Those whose drive reservoirs foam with the RedLine and those whose do not. I want to avoid the hassle of the foaming mess, so trying to figure if I am a candidate...Is it high HP only or a certain type of drive? There must be some explanation as to why some foam but not all?!?
My setup is a stock 330/454 w/TRS.
Many thanks in advance,

I run a 500hp with a standard Bravo 1 drive it also runs a drive shower and I have not had any problem with the Red Line foaming up.
It is a sticky oil. I'm changing to Royal Purple Max Gear as I feel it is a better oil.

On my old scarab I ran Aslyn syn and it foamed went back to merc oil and no probs.
The Hustler has B maxs and they recommend syn- I run amsoil and it foams . When you stop it settles back to where it was. no problems though.
