Default Formula Silent Thunder exhaust

I have a 1990 Formula 292 SR-1 and I am looking to make it's sound a little more noticeable. I was wondering if anyone has or had the baffles removed/modified. What was done such as drilling holes or cutting them out? If this is done does it compromise the structural integrity of the platform? How much increase in sound? Any help or input would be great.
