Trim Indicator Replacement or Fix???
Last night I was looking at the Trim Indicator cable on one of my drives and noticed that some of the parts are missing (the "C" clip) and also that the cable is kinda bent and corroded as well as part of the end of the tube has separated from the cable it's self.
Can I fix the cable that's already there?? Can I cut it and reattach the end??
If not I guess I might have to replace the Cable but that look's like a major pain in the a$$!!! because of how it's run and the lack of room under the dash!!! Does anyone have a trick for doing this??
Do you start at the helm and fish it through to that back of the boat then out through the transom or start from the back and fish it through the transom and then forward.

Although it won't be a piece of cake, you should be able to pull the new in place with the old. Just attach the two together and it will be possible. There are probably not too many tie downs for that particular cable.
It's possible without killing yourself.
