drive reservoir flush
What is the most thorough and easiest way to flush a Bravo drive fluid reservoir and supply line to remove old lube and metal contaminates before installing a new drive?
From above or from below? Solvent, compressed air, or fresh lube?
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Well if it was me and it has metal in the reservoir and line I would pull it completely out wash with solvent or good old soapy water to cut the oil and flush it. Dry it and blow with air last. Better safe than sorry. Of course I am some what anal when cleaning a block prior to assembly I have been told. Thats the way my dad taught me.
Hard or impossible to get all the metal out unless you clean all the oil out to. How much metal and how big can the pieces be?
