Trim/Tab hose fittings
Hi all,
Maybe someone can help me out...
I just installed a set of tabs and need to run the hose from the std. oildyne (new style) trim pumps to the tabs.
What hose fitting size is on the pump itself. I have a 3/8" (not sure waht NPT) on the Tab side.
Wheres a good source for these hoses or adapters.
Thanx!

I used brake line for mine. Works great. Has a rated pressure that is twice the capacity of the pump. -3 is the correct size. You will need an adapter fitting for the pump and tabs. These may be different sizes than the trim pump. Merc also had different sizes on their pumps over the years. Looking at the Russell catalog, I can give you some part numbers to start with. I'd recommend ordering all of these and then returning the wrong ones. It sucks to wait for a special order and then have to wait again to order a different part.
