Default Long or short water pump?

Motor is 330/454 with belt-driven accessories (not serpentine). Is my water pump considered "long" or "short"? Trying to adapt heavy-duty alternator & power-steering pump brackets from automotive application, but need to know long or short...

Has anyone sucessfully adapted "billet-type" mounting brackets (as seen in Jeg's/Summit) from auto to marine?

Thanks in advance,
