you are correct internet searches are good for this sort of thing and also for semi correct information that is the part number for an aftermarket impeller.
I have tried the globe after market one and lost water pressure and had premature failure so I wanted to go back to the standard Merc for which the correct part number is 47-89984T4
but thanks for the help anyway

I got to jump in here in regards to the Blue Globe Impellor. I also lost water pressure but that in turn reduced the maximum water pressure I was seeing at WOT. I ended up at 8 psig at idle and no more than 25 psig at 5000 rpm.
I was also using a crossover with bypass that had a 3/8" orifice in it. 142 degree T-Stat with (3) 3/16" holes.
155 degree operating temperature. Needed to control the oil temp though.
I now will be using a Mercury Racing Oil Filter Mount with T-Stat.
Sorry to go off on a tangent but losing water pressure was not a bad thing for my setup but a welcomed result of using the Blue Globe Impellor.

I use www.mercurypartsexpress.com to find part numbers and also to buy parts. A Merc dealer told me if I got the part number and called him I could save the up to 40% markup that Merc does.
