At what point do you decide that you need drive showers?

The only noticable condition is when your drive gets a white chauky appearance from cold water hitting a hot drive from extended runs. Or if you can see steam come off it when coming off plane. (I have never seen that myself personaly)

Or when you want more shine on the drive, or prefer the 'prevention' method. Those are my 2 reasons.

As far as I'm concerned the day you buy Bravos. They need all the help they can get to live.

I agree, Bravo's need all the help they can get. I was weighing the cost between getting a drive shower, and not getting one. I just consider it peice of mind and cheap insurance, there have been a lot of topics on drive showers and from what I've read, it's well worth the cost.

Thanks, i wasnt sure what the reason was. I thought maybe it had alot to do with torque and horsepower. More of it and the hotter the drive would get. I know there are more than not Bravos out there today without any DS's so that is why I was asking. Is one type and pickup better than the other?

I prefer the looks of the Halo myself also. Simple and 101% effective. Tons of water pours. There are also the 'cap' style showers which many like. Either design is better than no shower.
