port trim tab not working.

I have a set of dual ram tabs on my boat, and the pump I'm not sure of brand but has the green cover I think its an instatrim pump, prolly from between 1980-1988 The starboard tab runs fine and you can hear the pump run for the port but no motion. Does this setup have a split reservoir for left and right sides. I'm hoping it just needs to be filled?

TTT. I know some of you guys got to be running this pump. I can figure it out myself, but It would really help to have some ideas because my boat is about an hour away from here so I'd like to know what parts/tools to take to fix it so I can get going for this weekend.

Just Once,There is 2 solenoids in the pump 1 for port and 1 for starboard. If you take the pump apart and swap wires and the problem goes to the other sied then you know it is the solenoid.I have them in stock for $39.95 each.Yes it is Insta Trim.If you have any questions please call me at 1-800-769-7698

thanks, are those solenoids pretty common? There are no leaks & the motor is operating normally so it would make sense.

They are common but do not leak normally.
