Sorry don't know how to remove yours but on a lighter note;
I had mine off was scrubbing /re water proofing it when a sail boater ambles by says "I see your cleaning your um what do you call it ?". I said I call it a top. Well on a sailboat if its over your head its a bimini if its at the front its a dodger comes the reply. So i ask, what if its at the front and over your head
. Ummm comes the reply. Well thats why us power boaters just call it a top all them terms is to hard fur us ![Big Grin](/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Thanks for all your replys, Yes it looks like a factory install. Previuos owner had no idea how to remove it either, he just said he never used it so he never worried about getting it out!
I will try to post some pics of it.
I love everything about this boat, just got it and it is great!
Just wish for my wifes sake when she complains of the sun being to hot for her, I can say here honey let me just put up the top! Will look real dumb when I cant get it out though! There has to be a easy way and someone who has had one.

I wasn't aware Formula had a factory solution for bimini storage on 382's (search previous Formula thread on this topic). I and others would be interested in seeing how this is set up on your 382 so we could do the same ... if anyone can figure out how to get your's out, that is!

You are talking about storage of the bimini in the engine compartment right. On my scarab mine is stored in there with nylon straps with the top on the bulkhead opposite the back seat and the frame posts towards the rear of the boaton each side of the engines.. I kind of have to horse it around and work one side as far to the back corner of the engine comaprtment and work the other end up out of the hatch,there is a little flex in in the frame,its a tight fit but just have to get a little creative.
