Default Gasoline stain

This Winter, I must have filled the tank too full and when I pulled it out of storage, I noticed that some of the gas expanded in the tank and worked it self out of the vent and stained a small area on the hull.

I tried cleaning the stain and no luck, should I simply buff the stain out or does anyone have any other suggestions.
