cam for 350 mag recommendations??
I have an 18 Donzi with a 350 mag and looking to upgrade the cam for some more HP and already have an edelbrock performer intake,, Any ideas and suggestions?? right now engine is stock!! thanks, marc

Comp cams makes a great line of valve train componets for the SBC. If you think your motor is up to it I would try the XM 262H or if your going roller the XM-270HR. But with the roller you will need to upgrade your springs and such.

Crower makes an LT-1 GM Corvette grind. Just a little "lope" to it. I put one into an L-48 Vette engine which is similar to the 350 Magnum and mid and top end was just right. It's a classic design and a bit hotter than the L-82 vette's. I think the LT-1's with this cam were set up to be 350 HP engines. You have a good intake, maybe a 600 Holley would work. Make sure you have a double tooth timing chain and then you probably would need the best free flowing exhaust you can afford to match your induction modifications. Headers would work! You should be good for 350-375 HP and would have to get into head work to get beyond this I do believe.
