Marc here is a picture of what my old cable ends look like.
The cable on the top left is what was connected to the throttle assembly. The bottom right picture is what is connected to the carburetor and transmission

Patrick, you are going to need new 33C style cables and the adapters I posted a picture of previouly. Take a look at that cable reference Rookie posted, it is great!! Are you buying a new control? It will come with the ends for the control.
I should have our BoatStuffExpress.com site live this weekend, we have all that stuff there. (this is a shameless commercial plug). Mercury also has some really nice 33 style cables these days.
