I removed my old Morse throttle and am going to install the Zero Effort controls. I believe my cables are the 600A cables.

Thanks

I don' know if they will work. I just did the Morse throttle to Zero effort and ended up replacing the cables cause the old cables were not as smooth as I thought they should be. Well worth it. And if you need any of the J-hooks I had a friends machine up a dozen.

What a wild thread. Started in 2004, picked back up in 2006 and then another 6 years goes by and back again.

Marc here is a picture of what my old cable ends look like.
The cable on the top left is what was connected to the throttle assembly. The bottom right picture is what is connected to the carburetor and transmission

Patrick, you are going to need new 33C style cables and the adapters I posted a picture of previouly. Take a look at that cable reference Rookie posted, it is great!! Are you buying a new control? It will come with the ends for the control.

I should have our BoatStuffExpress.com site live this weekend, we have all that stuff there. (this is a shameless commercial plug). Mercury also has some really nice 33 style cables these days.
