cleaning corroded terminals
I heard that I can clean up minor corrosion from underneath the dash by soaking the guage terminals, and distribution blocks with WD-40 and letting it sit for a couple of days. Has anyone tried this or know of a better way?

'pends on what type of corrosion...
Green crap on brass? Start with a penetrant (WD40, CRC, etc) and disassemble.
Then take a wire brush and clean each disassembled component individually.
When reassembling, dab waterproof grease on the terminals, assemble them, then spray them with a protective covering (cosmolene, battery terminal protectant, liquid vinyl).

Yes - just light green crap on terminals. Is taking the terminals apart necessary? The boat will only be run in fresh water for now on.

I have the same problem with one of my boats. I'm just going to replace the whole fuse panel. Anyone know where to buy them? I think there were 18 fuses in the panel.
