I need a 26 LH. They got in a 26 RH last week. Close but no cigar.
The 26 P5 worked really well on my 271 Fastech but given the chance to try out a new prop, I couldn't resist and sent it back to wait for an P5X.
Let us know how they work out for you.

I've been considering the P5X for my 28 Daytona, but can't seem to get much feedback since the prop is so new. I'm running 30p Bravo's now and Julie recommended the 28 Hydro's as an equivalent. The only problem is that she doesn't have any 28 testers, only 27's. I'll probably wait till I hear from oso members how the prop works for them, before I would consider a pair. I hope they live up to all the hype..
How would the regular P5's perform vs. P5x's on a twin engine cat? Anybody, anybody? I'm looking for more mid-range and better hole shot, while maintaining top end.

Harper220,
No easy answer for you. You will need to test because Eliminator put the drives in different places on the 28. I have a 28 and can not run P5s and it didn't like the Quad IVs, they both provided too much stern lift. My friend's 28 has a higher X and runs the P5. He loves the midrange, but not the top end.

Has anyone ordered a P5 Plus for their boat, I was reading on the Hydromotive website that it is for boats with a high X-dimension. I have a daytona cat and would to hear some feedback with the 5 or 6 blades.

Jspeeddemon- what is your x? Mine is 1/2" above the lowest part of sponsons in rear.
Troutly- Now that you have tried them & like them, ship those props back so I can try them.
With my bravo 30 if I am light on fuel & no one sitting in back seat I get way too much transom lift. Boat runs faster full of fuel & people then empty. I hope these props do give a lot of bow lift.
