trim pump question?
I bought a set of used set of k-plane style trim tabs, but they did not come with pumps. can I use outdrive trim pumps? Are the pressures different? If they are, can they be changed? Is the valving adjustable, or a changeable carriage?

Re: trim pump question?
I just did the same thing. Make sure you get the "newer" trim pumps, they are low pressure vs. the older units which might blow out your seals. There is a high-pressure (grey) and low-pressure (black) hose. I got two of these with all solenoids, wiring, and mount for $125.00 each. Let me know if you need the info.
I simply had ss brakelines which are much cheaper than the stock hoses. Make sure you use tapered pipe fittings and get adapters to AN style fittings. Like I said, I just did this and have parts info if you need.
Later.
