Standard or high volume oil pump
I have a 350. I bought a new pan and pump / Steph's eng. they said in a boat I should run a standard vol oil pump, so thats what I ordered. My dad said to run a high vol and thats what was in the motor. I never ran the boat so not sure how the old pump was.. They both have different welded on pick-ups, but I think I can swap the top on the pumps and use either pump with the new pick-up. whats your thoughts.....

Be sure youu have proper clearance between the pickup and the pan with whatever combo. you use. Also I wouldn't use a high volume pump with a standard pan as they have been known to pump them dry at higher rpms. I have HV pumps but also have 10 qt pans

It looks pretty deep. Make sure the pickup is about a quarter inch from the bottom of the pan. Too far away and you run the risk of running out of oil...too close and it can restrict the flow . If you bought the pan , oil pump and p/u at the same time , same place hopefully they match.
