HP 500 carb spring recomendations
Anyone have the parts numbers for the springs and retainers?
How about installed height and pressure?

Here's what the Mercruiser Service Manual shows for the HP500 valve springs- 150# on the seat with a 1.90 " installed height. 420# open spring pressure. Can't help with the part numbers.--Lou

Retainers #'s vary according to application.
As per infomaniac the Isky springs are good pieces.
It has been our experience that PSI springs are the finest springs on the market today. They supply many IRL, Cup, Busch, Truck, Pro Stock, etc. teams today and also manufacture the premium Tool Room line for Isky.
