How to get to speedo fitting in gimbal housing
Is there a trick to ge to the fitting on the gimbal housing where the speedo hose attaches? My hose is wripped in the middle and I need to replace it.

It unscrews from the inside.
Disconnect the hose from the yellow speedo connector and 'unroute' the hose along the water intake hose. The speedo hose is at the top when viewed from the outside. When installing a new hose, push it thru from the inside and let it turn when you tighten the brass fitting from the inside, then reroute it behind the water inlet hose. (There is a recess in the transom assembly that the speedo hose fits in behind the water hose)
