calibrating gaffrig gauges
Anyone give me any info on how to calibrate a standard gaffrig tach to correctly read the revs on a Suzuki 225 EFI outboard.
Are these compatable? If so what needs to be done (after connecting the wires) to get the gauge to work. Currently even with wires connected and engine on and working fine, the gauge refuses to work and the needle is stuck at 0
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

theres usually a small switch on the back side (could be under a plastic/rubber plug you need to pop out) and you need to set the tach to the correct setting i.e. 4cyl, 6 cyl, 8 cyl, ouboard.....then if that dont work i would give them a call and see if theres anything else that need to be done.
