![Question](/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I am building a 454 vortec in place of my exploded 454 mag and don't have a HP program avail. Any of you guys willing to plug these in for me? Thanks
9.25 :1(I had the block decked)
vortec heads(stock)These are not peanut port but about 260cc and good exhaust flow and 1.72/2.09 valves
224/234 roller cam
511/544 lift
dart single plane with oval ports
800 holley DP
Rev marine exhaust(like Gil)
Total timing unknown but I heard these heads don't like or need more than 30,any suggestions?

Cooltoys,
I punched in your #'s, but I really need more information for your cam. I need the valve timing #'s off the card. If you have them, post them @ .050
As I entered the #'s :
r.p.m. h.p. torque
3500 263 395
4000 330 434
4500 402 469
5000 461 484
5500 503 480
6000 529 463
6500 537 434
I used a Dyno 2000 program.

Very different from mine, I'm showing 487-HP @ 5500-RPM with a steep drop off at 6000-RPM. Max Torque is 470 @ 4500 droping off at that point. However as with checkmate I need more detail.

it's Chevy part # 12366543. 224/234 @.050. 527/544 lift.110 ctrline. I don't know what I'm missing here. Thanks for your work. I'm looking for a good torque, 450hp so your #'s sound good to me,,, either set.

The program I have will not allow me to enter duration and centerline #'s. It requires me to enter exact valve timing ( IE: intake valve opens @ xx* and closes at xx* as well as exhaust valve) Then it calculates duration, lobe seperation and overlap from those #'s.
