External Steering ram / Need seals & ?'s
I have what I think is a kamma steering set up & it leaks all over the drive-way when it sits. I need seals but when I dissasmbled it the seals don't look like o-rings.. There more like a flat band around a 3/16 to a 1/4 wide , outter one is tapered ware it comes out of the cap. Were can I get some seals ASAP. Also is it safe to use for now?? P.s. I has two seals on a brass plunger and the end cap has a brass gide - seal- gide-outer seal.

Take the cylinder to a Hydraulic shop and have them repair it for you proper! If you don't know what your doing, you can phuck it up easy!
Also, if it's leaking oil, water can get into the cyclinder, works both ways!

What he said. Just went through this 2 weeks ago. Pulled them of took them to a place here in waterford. Had them rebuilt and back in 24 hours.
$140-wanted 165- Not worth saving a few bucks when I couldnt test my work. Put them on, bled the system and not a drop since. JOHN
