Re: Does Drive ratio/prop pitch affect heel to port side?
I went with an Imco 1.24 gear for that exact reason. I spin a 28 and 30 pitch 4 blade bravo and have both batteries mounted on the starboard side. The boat does list to the starboard side when idling and sitting still, but does not torque over to the left when accelerating. The problem that I have now is that it does not fly level. I am going to try moving the batteries around in the Fall.
The boat is a 2001 Sunsation Aggressor - 7ft beam, 540 procharged with imco 2' shorten drive and 1.24 ratio.
