Compression numbers for a 60HP Mercury Bigfoot?
My In-Laws are looking at a pontoon boat that has a 2000 60 HP Mercury Bigfoot outboard and the dealer is going to do a compression check in front of them. I know nothing about outboards ( but don't tell them!! ).
Does anyone know what an acceptable number would be compression wise? I figure that as long as it runs good and they are all about the same # that they would be OK.
Thanks in advance,
Craig
