Bravo bell housing support bushing
well the saga continues
I am just ready to install the motors and notice a worn out bushing in the bell housing (the one that is steel outter race rubber then steel inner race) and mounts the drive to the transom plate I take it to work press them out Well one comes out the other three the inner comes out but no outer on 2 and the outer 1/2 way out one of them.
Any clue on how to get the outer race out on the ones that did not move the shoulder it goes against is of larger id then the outer race so I cant push on it I was thinking die grinder and split it
That sucks
I had heat on it they were locktited in but they still seperated
Its still fun thought in a weird way
Just think when I am done I will have enough cash to buy all the tools for home that would have made this job easier

Re: Bravo bell housing support bushing
ok so I am stupid when I pushed old ones out I pushed on inner bushing no knowing they had a pusher ring that is installed first that let you press on the outer race (it looked like a piece of bell housing
Merc manual was no good I found this out after I had cut old ones out and opened new ones and saw this funny little ring
who would of thunk
