Default fraudulent procharger ad

BEWARE any oso member that may be looking at (2) different procharger ads on e-bay. They are both copys of a legit auction from several wks ago, item #7929708727 seller name inpaulaculiftu, item # 7929529528 seller name skorpjohn.I had bidded on this item previously,it has alot of parts, the problem is these two ads are for the SAME item which has already been sold!!!I know this is the technical q/a section but i figured it would be the best place to warn any fellow gearheads from losing there money on these two auctions or sellers!I have reported both ads to e-bay but not sure what they will do,Smitty

the thing these fraudulent ads have in common is roma italy and the fact they are selling items copied from ads i looked at a week or two ago from legit sellors.I just went back on e-bay and found 5 more fraudulent ads for different superchargers,if these stupid crooks were smart enough to copy a older ad and use a US address they could actually rip one of us off.some of the fraudulent ads i found actually had good feed back too,Smitty

No,e-bay is doing a p--s poor job on fraudulent ads, just got home tonight and i see bidding is running up on one of the ads i reported and several others have closed with winners. I sure hope these poor bidders back out and don't paypal these crooks.Another way to spot a fraudulent ad is it seem's they always have PRIVATE BIDDING(you can't see the members name that is high bidder. The reason for this is if someone turns them into e-bay (like i did) and e-bay doesn't pull the ad,fellow ebayers cannot send a mesage to the bidders to tell them that they are being scammed and to retract their bid(another loophole!). I have used e-bay ALOT and never had any problems but this fraud makes me sick,Smitty

Same thing just happened to me on a b&m supercharger with cooler and carb. I was not high bidder I missed out by 200.00 I got a second chance offer but the name to send the money was different than the add. This supercharger was offered a couple of months ago but I thought it had sold.
