Will that Vortech fit mounted on the side, like your picture, of the 525efi with the sport tubes on those motors?

UH Tom, WHAT HAPPENED?????? When you were last in y shop, that sucker was gonna fit where a stock 500efi was. It looks a little taller now!!!!! What happened to the original plennum and cooler design?

Greg: It's exactly 22.5" to the top of the bolts in the lid.

Mudball: Pricing isn't set, but we have to be competitive.

rock hard: Blower position on the 525 is different for three reasons; the headers, the water outlet at the front of the head and the different bolt pattern on the front of the head. We have to use a different flame arrester too.

Sean: Two words; AIR FLOW. In the original design the position of the blower outlet and the stock throttle body location was causing a problem for air flow. I also thought that the manifold itself would benefit if the air came in through a big hole in the top rather than through small holes at one end. Sorry it won't fit the Daytona now without a scoop.

Damn, that looks good!
The problem I have always had with blowers other than the roots (and PSI style) blowers is the looks. I know looks don't really mean anything at all performance wise, but there is a certain amount of pride involved in raising the hatch to something cool looking.
This is the first of these type blower/intercooler packages I would consider attractive.

I think you might just have a winner there.
