5 Blade Props.
I have a 1997 Superboat 24' Long, 7' Wide, 24° straight V bottom with no steps, no pad. She weighs about 4000lbs with fuel and gear.
I have a 310HP/7.4MPI in her now, but I plan to bolt in a rebuilt 415HP/502mag this Spring.
With the 7.4 she tops out at 67mph @ 4600rpm turning a 26p Bravo 1 labbed by Houston Prop.
My 26p has been fixed or altered 3 times now so I am going to buy a new prop to go along with the 100+HP I will be adding to the boat.
Has anyone run a 5 blade on a similar boat?
Any 24' Pantera owners try one yet?
Would a 5 blade be a waste of money for my boat?
Should I just buy a 28p Bravo 1, and go from there?
Thanks,

Re: 5 Blade Props.
I would try your current prop first. It may work just fine. With the 502, you're gonna want to spin it right at 5000rpms. I would think that it will be close with the 100hp gain.
