Mike,
I have run your slip numbers and with the 26P Bravo I running at 5000 RPM at 60 MPH you have a slip of 24%. This is extremely high! I am sorry to say that you need a spacer in your drive. Probable in the range of 1"-1.5" spacer. This should increase the efficiency. However you may need a smaller pitch as your RPM will probably decrease submerging the prop deeper in the water. You need to run that HP500 at 5250 at WOT for optimal speeds. Feel free to call me any time.

Could you elaborate on the mods done by Julie?

The altitude KILLS speed... Tahoe will regularly put you down about 20- 25%. You should pull about 72 tops on the Bay waters.
I can push 80 in my 29/525efi all day.... unless it is 100 degrees and humid about 76.

I also have a 1997 29 foot Fountain and run it at Lake Tahoe and the Delta.
Up at the lake I run 80 and at the Delta I run 90.
The only way to get any power at Tahoe is to Supercharge. You can have a very reliable setup with 6 - 7 pounds of boost, and probably see faster speeds than I do since you have the newer hull.
