tons of people do this all the time.
That's why we don't understand the question.
See your other redundant post in General.
I'll be happy to answer specific questions but truly don't understand exactly what you are asking...

On a standard setup you run the hot water off of the block with motor running. You can't do this on a 496 becuase of the closed cooling.
Is there another way?

Not sure how its been done on the 496, but I suspect you could pick up some of the hot raw water at the rubber elbows between the top of the exhaust manifold and the stainless riser. I would be careful to only do this at idle obviously and you might need to check and make sure the waters not so hot as to burn someone. Just a thought.

Help me here...
Are you wanting to shower with the same water your boat is sitting in? Or are you wanting to shower with water from a tank in the boat?
I am assuming you want to spray "tap water" from the shower, but you want it to be warm. Is that not the case?

It's a question I have as well. My new boat came with the transom shower installed, but I don't get any hot water as it is now routed. The way it is now relies on the engine water pressure to force it through the hose and not the shower pump.
