Intrested in what you find out about this conversion. I have a SBC with a 2 barrel carb. It actually has a 4 barrel manifold and an adapter plate from the factory (VP). I wionder what gain I would get with just a carb swap. Too lazy to do a cam swap, plus he way the boat is set up you gotta pull the motor to get cam out. Heck with that noise. Another year or so it will time to yoke it anyhow. (320hrs now).

A MPI swap to a properly running carb motor is a hassle unless you have the complete system, and you bought it cheap. Cold starting is the only place you will see BIG improvements.

Have not installed one of these systems yet, but it should work well for you.

There's part of a system in the Parts Swap area for sale now. You'll need the harness and ECU but it appears to have everything else. Not sure it looks "economicly feasable" (worth the $$$).
