I know the BB 2 xtra says Big Brodie on it, they have 2 models stock has 365 cc runners, flows 375 cfm @ .700 on the good runners. The cnc version finishes out at 355 cc.flows 394cfm @ .700 again the good runner. You can see all the flow charts on Brodix.com. Depending on the size motor, n/a or blower, the 2 xtra cnc will make close to 1400 hp on the dyno. I think all of the -2s, plus and x, are big brodies.

Hi Ratman
I have had several sets of Brodix over the past ten years they work very well.
At present I have a brand new set of BB2 extra's with a full hand port. I have access to new full cnc ported for comparison and was able to acheive about 25 cfm more than CNC at .700 intake and about 74% more than CNC on the exhaust. The valve size was 2.3 and 1.90 ( exhaust might have been 1.88, cant recall)
They are approaching 430cfm on the best port, awesome for a conventional style BBC design
I like them, you would be happy with the quality and power.

Correction.
I didnt mean 74 % more, but 74% of exhaust flow on average. Sorry

Ted, I got more out of them also, not quite 430 on the intake @.700 but I did get the exhaust around 315 @ .700. How well did you do on the bad runners @ .700?

Hi GPM
I will check on those figures for you, my headporter is a small shop a few hundred miles away and I need to get the figures from him. I will get all the runners data and and pass it on. Some were not as good as the best but still very good.
Dont you think they are the best head out there for big power on a big inch blown application? The bigger heads need adaptors and special intakes for the blowere and that all adds up to more $
I will pass it to you as soon as I can get him to send it to me. You have my curiousity now too.

Have a good one
T

Hello GPM
Where is your shop? Is this Gary from Socal? If so, I called you a while back asking about Bob Leach's big motors and cam selection. I need a little advice on a couple of solid roller cams I have.
Sorry if this is not gary. I will get you the runner data as mentioned in the other post

Ted, I'm not from Socal, I run the Brodix heads and have been more than happy with the power they make. I've had 4 sets of them in different applications never a problem.

Hello 42MTI
Have a look at the flow figures on the Brodix website. It appears that the BB Big Port 2 xtra's have a higher flow than the 3 series.
What flow figures did you get with your new cnc BB3's?
I agree with you on the Brodix products, many years and hours with the various 2 series I have owned.
