Your Dad was right most of the time, wasn't he???????

Between the procharger, hydr steering and paint work, he is talking about spending 10k on a 10k boat.

Someone better worn him about contacting his insurance company also. They might not even insure it.

Yea, but that doesn't mean I wanted to hear it

As far as spending 10k on a 10k boat, how is that any worse than buying a brand new boat for 70k, that will only be worth 40k the following summer??

A new 70k boat will not depreciate to 40k the next summer unless you paid too much to start with.

have you put any though into what happens to a small boat traveling very quickly when the drive pukes? Its generally not a nice pleasant controlled deceleration.

Like i said alpha with 450hp is a time bomb waiting to rapidly decelerate you.

FYI when i did the alpha to bravo conversion i did all th work mysefl and I sold the complete alpha for i think $400 less than what i paid for a complete bravo.

Yea, that was a little extreme, how about 65k to 45K........
