Hey all, I have been searching for a race style windscreen for my 96 scarab 29 for months. I have even called lexan fabricators for custom work , but no one will do it. They say they don't have ovens big enough to handle the size of my project. Are there any options out there? Does anyone make aftermarket windscreens? The factory piece is no longer available but, I would be happy with finding a salvage part or custom piece. Please help, I'm running out of cold weather and i'm ready to hit the water. Thanks to all.

The one on my 98 is actually aluminum, I am sure that Wellcraft did not make it themselves. Have you figured out who did make it? Are they even still in business?

Hey all, I called welcraft and got the number to the manufacturer. When I called, they said they did not have the equipment or template anymore and could not help me. They were real friendly though and offered several sugestions such as custom work or salvage yards. Darn, back to square one.

make an offer to trade someone your glass/frame plus cash for the race fairing. Some people perfer the glass, there is less wind with the glass then the fairing. You might get lucky.

Why don't you build one? I made one for my 1991 formula last year. It took a some time but it was worth it. Attached is the link for the entire project.
