Does this engine have one? If not what would be the best route to take for knock protection/monitoring. I have seen the Livorsi gauge just looking for alternative systems.
If anyone has one they are not going to use or pulled off an old set up let me know.

Nothing on the diagrams in my 525SC manual either. Its a standard TB IV ignition with a merc rev limiter.
Don't you need have a TB V to have the knock sensor with timing retard feature???

TBV 525's have a knock sensor.
A friend of mines 97's have TBV,
I believe that was the first year for
it.
