Default Hydrolic leak at transom

I found a small hydrolic leak on the coupler that mounts on the outside of the transom where the steering hose connects. The actual fitting that mounts to the transom has a small crack in it. It's seeping out of the crack. Is this something that anyone else has experienced? I was hoping it may be an easy fix for me to do. If I have to remove the inside headers or other compnents I may just take it to a Formula Dealer. (3 hours away) I heard that Troutly may have experienced the same thing on his 382.

It's the chrome fitting mounted on the stern that the hose connects to that's leaking. I would have to get access from the engine compartment to remove the fitting. Didn't look yet inside the compartment to see how tight it's going to be to remove it, or if I can even reach it. I'll check it out this weekend. My guess is it's gonna be a tight fit to get back to it.
