Miss Maxon was a 33' Sutphan raced by Tim Ciasulli in Modified class. He raced it in the early 1980's.
The boat originally had staggered de-stroked big blocks (modified were allowed a maximum of 734 cubic inches) I've got pictures of it but can't post them due to computer illiteracy.

That's the boat that lead the fleet to the Verrazzano bridge and then ran out of gas on the way back.
I worked for Timmy at Maxon Pontiac back then. We used to drool over it sitting in the back warehouse.
This is the only shot I have of it back in the day.
