I heard last year that they were trying to take some weight out of the hull. The problem is..........a lot of the excess weight is in the deck. When they bought it, they pulled the #5 and box off and put the Bravo on, which obviously changed the CG some also.

I'm surprised that they haven't run some P-Class races though.

When I owned it, we were the heaviest in the class (with #5 and box). I don't know what its weight is now Larry.

I think a majority of the boats have already been put on the "Jenny Craig Program" so it would only be reasonable to think the few boats that remain would not need to do this as well. The Weight for SVL is 4750 LBS.

As for having a voice Yes they do, and all are happy with this weight, and competition seems to be very even when looking at last year OSS SVL boats with four different winner's. And 2006 looks to be even better with 9 boats already signed up.

Laz,
I am bringing the boat down to the Sarasota area this summer for good.Maybe this summer we will see each other in Miami to go for a ride.Lorenzo always speaks well about the work you do.Does "El Viejo" still work for you.Last I heard he had a small cat that ran well over 100.I know in the summer you guys have a lot of fun running to Elliot Key.Hopefully will get a chance to do it this year.Take care.

Wil

The boat is being rigged as we speak. Everything is coming along well.

hopefully, we will be ready to splash by the 2nd week in April.

Stickerboy has been working on the graphix. we are finalizing the artwork and should be installing in a couple weeks.

If Ryan is doing it, I'm sure that it will look great!
