I saw that. Does this have anything to do with the race boats going to China?
Were the teams to go to China picked in Reggieville?

Haven't heard anything about a connection. However, Reggie's too good of a businessman to miss an opportunity when it presents itself.
Think EBM will cover the China demonstration...its during our off season....could be a new market for powerboat magazines too.

Re: Fountain Eyes China Market...
As a card-carrying Permanent Resident of the PRC (amongst other countries,) I can attest to the fact that China is very much an emerging market when it comes to offshore race boats. It could easily grow 100% over night: Just sell a few boats....
When I inquired what it would take to put my Kryptonite in Chinese waters, nobody could give me an answer. Finally, the matter was discussed with the military. They inquired about the speed of the boat, and said: "That would be a first."
It is my guess that currently there are as many offshore race boats in the Peoples Republic of China as there are strip clubs. (Someone ask me how many strip clubs are in China.)
The current focus in China seems to be a low cost producer. (Labor is cheap and emissions standards for laying down fiberglass are lax to no-existant - or not enforced.) It will be quite a while until they are a big consumer of performance boats. Which isn't saying they won't be. They play golf like it's going out of style. And owning and breeding race horses is the rage du jour.

10 points to Ron P!
There are ZERO strip clubs in the PRC.
Stripping is considered Hooliganism in China, the catch-all crime for anything potentially offensive - and what would boat racing be without a strip club?
