I left Jim at 2:00 today and and he was with his wife ,mother ,sister, and cousin. He starting on food and talking much better. I had to leave today but will try and keep you all posted.

as a fan , i have been reading about all the races and events for years , and am current on all the info , this years race at key west was amazing , the popeye, ams oil race was definitley the high light of the week , every one every where i went was talking about it and saying how great the racing was between the 2 . i ve never felt anything when i skimmed over posts like this before , but this time i completely understand everyones pain , after talking to all the drivers , crew and owners during the week , i can't even express how wonderful everyone was to a complete stranger , ready to talk about racing , give tips , advice ,or just shoot the bull , i have been telling everyone who asks about my trip what an amazing group of people i met and hung out with ,

now ...this thread brings a tear to my eye ...you are all great people.....and jim will pull through just fine because he has alot to live for and all your thought s and prayers really do help at a time like this ....i pray for your speedy recovery jim
