Default Anyone else remember "BEEP BEEP TOO"

I found this on E-bay, I saw this one run in 1974 or 75. If I didnt have a project boat I would be interested in it.

The Late Joel Harpins boat, remember seeing him and betty cook run under the same bridge span, Macauthur Bridge (Belle Isle) in detroit, At around 80 MPH, fast for those days and span arches total width 40. not a lot of room for error.

This was Joel's first raceboat, I think he ran in either Sport or Modified at that time. I'm sure Waterboy2 will know the boat's #.

Back in 1975, the class structure was Open 1, Open 2,Sport, Modifed & Production.I think that BEEP BEEP TOO ran in Sport Class.....most of Halpern's boats ran #81 so I think that this boat was S-81.

This boat would make a great project for someone(not you Bob)!
