Default SBI in NYC one day fees

For the OPA boats that did not run in New Orleans last year and are interested in running the SBI New York City race the fee schedule is as follows:

P-class 50.00 membership 150.00 equipment
National 100.00 membership 50% of classes equipment fee

I know that the entry fee for P is 250.00 as far as national brackets I am not to sure as to each one.

I know that in the national bracket if your money is recieved at the SBI office 15 days b4 the race you get 100 off.

As of this moment F1 and F2 are open game, I dont think Frank will be able to attend and Reggie will be running the new Supervee. The national championships in those divsions have been decided, but if you want to qualify for worlds in those divisions go 4 it.

I really feel that this will be an opportunity for OPA to flex its muscle. This is a chance for us to show LLC and SBI that OPA means business and will probally give us leverage in further negotiations with either one. That depends on how many show up though. SBI will bring approx 15 boats, and with our 30-40 it could really boost the OPA in the future. PLus on top of it, it is our back yard and I would really love to protect our turf. Just my .02 cya'll

Why don't SBI just join OPA instead of vise versa? You with 25-40 boats and them with 14-16.

Sauron, yes that would sound logical but SBI sanctions national divisions and OPA sanctions the Outlaw P classes. And due to the fact that SBI brings with it a 200 mph boat(Bacardi) It becomes an insurance and permit issue and a lot of other stuff that the powers that be have to deal with and not I.
