Nutz go from 5 to 6
Having had excellent results with the 5 blade Hydromotives, courtesy of Throttle-Up, and especially with their new round ear variant, the Nutz were eager to test the new 6blade Hydro.
Last Friday, the 6 blade prop arrived in New Jersey via overnight courier, and over the weekend, the Blue Nutz of Wild Card tested the heck out of it.
"Boy, am I impressed," said Will Ros. "Same top end and a lot more acceleration." Having heard that, the other Nutz sprinted to the phones, called Julie, and ordered their 6bladers to maintain the competitive equilibrium.
The six-eared props will be tested in Algonac, and will be raced in earnest at the OSS race in St. Pete on 6/25-27.

Re: Nutz go from 5 to 6
Black and Blue Nutz race Throttle-Up's Hydromotives exclusively. We loved the 5bladers, had them since last year. The Extreme likes both round ear and pointed ear. The Phantom doesn't like pointed ear, but loves round ear. Round ear (P5X) gave much better acceleration than pointed (+3 sec w/ the Extreme.) Tested before and in Biloxi.
As mentioned above, 6blade was tested over the weekend, even better acceleration at same top end.

Here a some photos to clarify:
Hydromotive P5-X : Round ear blade design, which induces bow lift.

Tried the 6 blade from Throttle Up yesterday. No loss in speed and felt solid. Julie you better place a stocking order on these. I think they are a winner!
