Apart from the slight inconsistency (Black Nutz is 4th, Blue is 3rtd ...) the results at http://www.silvercupseries.com/resul.../results_1.htm tell a very interesting story. Both Black & Blue show an average lap speed of 84 and change. Both our top speeds are 89 and change. Come try to beat that in a straight SVL race, girls.

That Fortress boat also averaged over 88mph. This means they were running well over 90mph in the straight aways. The silver cup still has no GPS or Radar gun to check speeds. The best Randy and I saw was 89 with the river current. Not *****in, just stateing the facts.
Had a great time racing with Candy and his new Typhoon. We had a great race with the Wild Card boys and just a good time in general. Thanks again for the invite Candy, and you too Bert. Learn how to drive an RV!

The GLSCS will have the sealed GPS units this year. As stated at the Drivers Meeting, there was a component needed to complete assembly of the units that didn't ship as scheduled, thus delaying the delivery. They are supposed to be ready and shipping in the next week.

As you stated, no harm,no foul. Looking forward to racing you guys again this season. Candy and I will make it up to another race and try to beat you guys in my new boat. Best of luck and safe racing this year.
