Stop looking at pictures and read about it or listen about it. It is going to change to rain down here. Are biggest obstacle is where to put the boats in the lot at Raritan.
Jr and Truex are running in reach of one another. I think if they can get hooked up together they will move there way through the pact and up to the front. If DEI does not do it I would really like to see Wildman Tony Stewart get his first Daytona 500 Victory.

Truex now in 6th!!!
For North Jersey tomorrow:
Presidents Day...Snow...Heavy at Times very early on with visibility one quarter mile or less...Mixing with rain by midday. The precipitation will be quite light during the afternoon. Total snow accumulation of 6 to 8 inches likely. Highs in the upper 30s. Northeast winds 10 to 20 mph.

Mercury Racing loves competition, as long as everyone is running Mecury Racing product.
And as for the rest of your statement... "i can't wait until merc changes the motor again and everyone has to go spend another 30,000 in two years."
I agree, but I strongly feel that spec racing DOES work! If Volvo, Bombardier, Evenrude/Johnson, maybe even Yamaha, (remember their stern drives?) were allowed, indeed invited into offshore racing, on an even playing field, we may be amazed as to where our sport could go. Offshore racing just needs to understand that as long as Mercury Racing pulls all the string, runs the show, holds a monopoly on the power allowed and makes all the money, then offshore racing will be nothing more than OSS.
