Hmm, I was out all weekend and this is the first I had heard about it.

Glad Trent was there and fast thinking to keep a bigger disaster from happening and I hope all those injured by the fire a speedy recovery.

your boat could have caught on fire and you wouldnt have remembered there Ralph

saw this happen at my marina in TN... fill up, didnt turn on blower and kaboom. doesnt take much to ignite. blew the hatch right off the boat and burned to the water line. best to the injured and a speedy recovery.

Good point Myrtle but if I recall, the old slow Cig did beat the toothpick back to duck creek from Woodard Saturday!!!!!

just to give you guys some info...

7 people where on board. 4 were burned and life flighted to Tulsa, and then later the kids were taken to Houston.

No one was thrown from the boat from the explosion. They all jumped in the water. There happend to also be a Skiatook Firefighter on site, who was at the marina. She pulled all the people from the water, and started first aid until the local medics showed.

The bilge of the boat was full of fuel, even after the fire.

This is the first heard of the fire. Quick action by the fireman saved those docks.

Full of fuel? sound like someone owes Trent a drink, that boat almost took out the marina!
