River Shiver?!
I was wondering when the river shiver is this year; my goal is to have the boat put back together by then and blow everybody out of the water.

Re: River Shiver?!
I am in the same boat as kirk , i would like a turn key boat, that runs all season long w/ NO problems, But a 288 sunny or a used 280 silencer is high on my list when i get the engine back together and mine is sold!! MAy have a buyer in michigan.I will be boatless again for this thunder run, but i am still buying a hand of cards cuase latley my only luck has been w/ poker runs LOL! Found out after many hours and $$ of diagnostics that i had a broken valve spring, a club member here gets a high five for finding that! . Removed both heads today found a cracked valve on the same cylinder along w/ some excessive moisture. possible a bad head gasket .Got to go am getting drunk aand forgetting my engine woes!May be a little hung over for the thunder run!

Hey Pete,
Stay away from the PQ 280. Trust me , I was working for Kramer when they came out with that boat. I wanted one until I drove it. It rides to flat and crashes through waves instead of driving through or over them. If you want more info come talk to me on Thursday.
