If you want to live in that part get jet boat or something that runs shallow I have seen some people get into some real **** there. Imagine being mid thigh in mud cause your boat is stuck.

had a place on the river @173 for 8 years (fox river springs sub division). Made the trip in a 25' baja 100's of times, the current cuts a minimum 4-5' channel from Wilmot all the way to Grass lake. However, it's not always in the center.
